Daedalus and his son, Icarus were imprisoned in a tower by King Minos. Then, Daedalus made two wings of feathers and wax to escape the island. He told his son that he must not fly too high or too low because it could be dangerous for him. Icarus enjoyed flying and forgot what his father said. He flew towards the highest heavens. The heat of the sun melted the wax from his wings; the feathers were falling, one by one; and no one could help him. Icarus fell from the sky, smashed into the sea and drowned.
